#DIABETES AND HONEY##

 ###    Since ancient times, bee products have been considered not only an important food but also a source of disease preventation  and treatment.   Traditional Chinese Medicine notes tht honey stimulates the acativity of the splen and stomach, helps the heart, and sustains the liver.  Its sweet taste improves lung functioning, promotes relaxation, and released pain in certain cells.  Recent studies have identified antibacterial effects, a result of the lactobacilli that contained in honey.  
     Honey has close to a 1:1 ration of frutose and glucose, enabling it to impoorve blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity compared with other sweeteners.  This property, along with its antixidant effect, may make it helpful for diabetics.#######
